WE ARE ORBIT

Following back-to-back sold-out Orbit DJ Retreats following the 2019 launch, Orbit returns to it’s home in Ibiza for an immersive and holistic learning experience for DJs, producers and music industry enthusiasts to elevate their skills and knowledge to the next level in 2023.

Attendees will be mentored by a collection of the most successful and innovative names in electronic music and beyond, including Orbit Co-Founder Doorly, and industry experts from Ableton, Logic, Native Instruments and Pioneer. Past industry mentors include Gorgon City, Nightmares on Wax, Eli & Fur, plus a host of Orbit friends from across a broad spectrum of fields, including A&Rs, agents, managers, record label owners, promoters, bookers, talent buyers, publicists, publishers and more.

A venture between leading minds in music from around the globe, Orbit’s program covers all the essentials to succeed in the music industry, including; how to use DJ equipment at the highest level of performance. Mastering production and software skills. Marketing, social media and branding. Business and career development. Plus, workshops and classes focused on health and well-being, offering tips to maintain a long career in the industry.  

After the debut 2019 retreat, the Orbit team have been over the moon with the response from our students and the success stories the alumni are having from signing to Gorgon City’s label REALM to Damian Lazarus' label Crosstown Rebels to touring the world. Some have Signed to their favourite record labels and played their dream gigs. I've even signed a few to my label, which was a nice bonus. To find such exceptional un-tapped talent like this is an extraordinary thing.  Watching the students success invigorates the Orbit mentors, and that’s what this is all about.
