Rob grew up playing trombone in brass bands as his GP dad listened to The Beatles. He started playing hip-hop and funk under the DJ name of Rob The Bank, moved to London in the early '90s to study at Goldsmiths, and met his future wife and co-pilot Josie in the student union.
They formed a romantic and raving union, putting their energy into nights out at now-legendary clubs like Rage and eventually putting on their own parties. He then went on to start his own festival - Bestival - which began with a Sunday Best tent at Glastonbury and started at Robin Hill on the Isle of Wight with an audience of 7,000 people in 2004.
This eventually grew to 50,000 people and a sister festival Camp Bestival for families.
Rob also runs his own record label - Sunday Best - it launched Groove Armada and Lemon Jelly back in the late '90s and is currently home to Dan le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip and Kitty, Daisy and Lewis. And there's also his musical alter ego, Lazyboy.

Iʼm now ready for the next phase of this journey and am proud to be launching Sleep Retreat in 2019. Imagine diving into a different world for an hour or two and coming out as refreshed as if youʼve just woken up" - Rob da Bank

The Numbers Man. A short story by James Lyell....
After studying architecture, Sam began his career as a draftsman for a corporate group in Brisbane. Before long, he realised that his acute eye for numbers could be put to better use and began counting heads as they poured through the door of his new brain child, one of Brisbane's most successful club nights to date - Lick It.
While fast becoming a champion of Brisbane's growing club scene, Sam decided to venture into the arts and became creator and curator of a small yet culturally fruitful art gallery called 'Nine Lives'. If juggling the 2 wasn't enough, one night while doing the numbers on another sold out Lick It show he realised he could take the idea further still..
In 2008 Sam started a touring company called Happy Endings. The agency would see him work with the likes of Foals, Tame Impala and Metronomy to name a few. With brands such as Converse, Vice and Red Bull knocking on the door, Happy Endings also quickly garnered attention in the activations space. Although these brands, bands and numbers were nothing to scoff at, Sam could see there was something more in the 0's and 1's.
In 2010 Sam took on his first management job. Flight Facilities were a young pair of producers who needed a little wrangling. After helping them to release their first single "Crave You" Sam stood by the duo as the 3 of them counted milestones together. 2 orchestral shows to a 15,000 strong crowd, various gold records, an aria award and billings on prestigious international festivals such as Coachella and Glastonbury are just a few of the things the 3 have achieved so far.
In 2015 Sam joined forces with Danny Robson to form management company Leisurly. With a quality over quantity approach to their roster, the 2 currently represent 4 very exciting artists with a shared worth of close to 7M monthly listeners (Spotify). Rüfüs Du Sol, Flight Facilities, Motez and Lastlings are only the beginning of what is shaping up to be a premier artist management roster. What's next for the quiet achiever? The sky's the limit, the numbers just have to add up.
